Not what I was expecting. I got the salmon and chips plus the salmon chowder and a salad bar run (I was hungry). The salmon did not taste fresh, the fries were flavorless, the chowder tasted like it came out of a can, and the salad bar was... A salad bar. The only good qualities were the view of the river and the Bridge of the Gods. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. That's why I gave it two stars instead of one. The food itself was zero star quality. Another thing you should know is that it's cafeteria style. I won't be going back.

Friendly folks, great views, reasonable prices, and good breakfast. Here's hoping the recent name change doesn't signal a shift toward fancy-pantsy inflated prices for this landmark.

First time here but many visits when it was Char Burger. Pretty darn good breakfast. Had the corned beef hash and eggs. VERY tasty. The coffe was not so great which is why I took off a star. I'm not all that into cafeteria setups but the wait staff did get us in and out quickly and efficiently.

Views - 4 star Food - 2.5 star Customer Service - 0 star Arrived for a late breakfast/ brunch at 10:50 - We wait @ 5 minutes for attention - no biggie until the woman says " you just missed it ". What ? It's 10:55, and breakfast is supposed to be over at 11:00 ? We drove 20 minutes extra to get here. Nope, we are done with breakfast - too bad, so sad. Sorry, but If you are going to serve breakfast until 11:00, serve until 11:00. We were regular patrons of the establishment when it was the "Char Burger" - Not for the food, but for the location. No more. The mediocre food, and poor customer service just isn't worth it.

New name but this place was known for years as CharBurger and while the outside and the sign has changed the interior and the menu are the same, thank goodness! So for now, go to the old CharBurger listing and see my and other reviews there. But the synopsis is, this place is awesome and you should stop by if you are in the area!

Had dinner here last night and breakfast this morning. Had a wonderful marionberry pie big and warm with ice cream. Was delicious. Has been had salmon fishing chips which were also very good. And clam chowder he said was good too. It is a bit cafeteria style which we didn't expect when we walked in. But the people are extremely nice. They even poured our beer. Definitely not a fancy place but I thought it was very good and will be back. Also had oatmeal for breakfast which was delicious with hazelnuts and spiced pear. Husband had two eggs over easy with hashbrowns and wonderful toast. Can't wait to come back.

I have been here several time (Char Burger) and the only taste that stays consistent is their delicious fries. One time their food will be delicious, the next it will be pretty bland. Cute place and view but wouldn't go out of my way to go here
